What helps us reply usefully
A good first message does not need to be long. A few lines about what you want to achieve are usually enough for us to point you toward the right course, guide or exercise.
If you already have a camera, mention the model type and whether it has manual controls for exposure and focus. This tells us which exercises will work for you straight away and which ones need a small adjustment.
Describe the space you have available. A spare room, a corner of a living room or a rented studio all lead to different advice on distance, lens choice and light. Rough measurements are plenty.
Tell us what you plan to record, such as portraits, interviews or short talking-head videos. Different subjects need different framing habits, and knowing yours lets us start with the most relevant material.
